By creating an account, registering as a student, or submitting onboarding applications, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.
2. Platform Eligibility & Student Accounts
- Eligibility: Students must be at least 13 years of age or be school passouts preparing for engineering entrance examinations.
- Accuracy of Profiles: You agree to provide true, accurate, and up-to-date details during registration (including your actual JEE Main rank, state, branch preferences, email, and phone number). Providing fake ranks or deliberate misinformation to secure guidance is a breach of these terms.
- OTP Verification: Account registration and login workflows require valid email/mobile OTP verification. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.
3. Institutional Onboarding (For Colleges)
Representative users submitting requests through the "Onboard Your Institution" wizard represent that:
- All uploaded documentation, branch seat matrices, fees breakdown, and placement statistics are accurate and verifiable.
- They possess the authorization to bind the college/institution.
- They will not provide misleading accreditation claims or exaggerations. Misrepresenting rankings or approvals (e.g. NAAC, NBA, NIRF) will lead to immediate rejection or removal of the profile.
4. Permitted Use & Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following restricted activities:
- Scraping, copying, or duplicating our curated college database or cutoffs directory.
- Submitting spam, duplicate leads, or fake admission queries to counsellors or partner colleges.
- Attempting to bypass authentication systems or inject malicious code into base64 image uploads.
5. Disclaimers of Information
Information Accuracy: While we perform extensive research to maintain the database, all admission cutoffs, fee structures, and placement packages are subject to change by respective universities without notice. Students are strongly advised to cross-verify cutoff rankings with official counseling authorities (like JoSAA/CSAB) and respective college websites.
No Guarantees: BtechHelpline does not guarantee admission into any specific engineering college or guarantee post-admission job placements. Our matching outputs are purely advisory and based on historical cutoff and placement data.
6. Intellectual Property

8. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions or disputes arising out of your use of the website must be filed exclusively in the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
